Rome, the Eternal City, was built on seven hills. Three of them adorn the coat of arms of MONTI, one of the oldest districts of ancient Rome. In between, in the 19th century, the slopes were covered with vineyards and gardens. Today Monti is “the village within the city”. Away from the turbulent hotspots, it celebrates deceleration in vintage style. Everything runs a little slower here.
