Sancus was the Italic and Roman god of fidelity, honesty, and oaths. He is on the same level of renown as Hercules, who throughout antiquity was considered the mightiest hero of all time. Sancus would later become Sanctus, meaning the saint. A wallpaper in Divino – the divine wallpaper collection – is also dedicated to him.
