FONDO is Italian and means „deep“. This depth immediately catches the eye with this healthy wallpaper from Hohenberger. It comes from the grasses that we found during our walks around our design studio and in the nearby Fichtelgebirge.
We were particularly impressed by the foliage of wild tulips. In order to make the design look as natural as possible, we first processed the leaves and grasses into threads and put them on a traditional school weaving frame. They form the so-called weft, the chain consists of a mounted cotton thread.
